Our Story

Dragonfly & Co was born from a lifelong love of fragrance and the memories that beautiful scents can create.

The inspiration behind the brand began with my Nan. As a young girl, she worked at the famous Yardley’s factory, carefully wrapping soaps and spending her days surrounded by beautiful fragrances. She often spoke about how the scent would linger on her clothes long after she left work, and how people would stop to compliment her on the bus. Even on difficult days, she would say that those lovely fragrances always helped lift her mood and brighten her outlook.

Years later, when I faced my own health challenges, I realised I needed to slow life down and find a new path that would work around me. During many conversations and brainstorming sessions with my wife, we kept returning to one thing: fragrance.

The more we talked, the more it became clear that fragrance was not only something we loved, but something deeply connected to family, comfort, and happiness. From those conversations, Dragonfly & Co was created.

The dragonfly in our name is a tribute to my Nan. Her love of fragrance, the perfumes she wore, and the fresh flowers she always filled her home with left a lasting impression on me. Those scents hold some of my fondest memories, and they continue to inspire every product we create today.

We are proud to be based in the beautiful market town of Market Harborough, Leicestershire.

Our studio is located in Market Harborough, where our products are carefully handcrafted in small batches. From blending fragrances and pouring candles to packaging each order, every stage of production takes place here with attention to detail and a genuine passion for quality.

We also have a shop in Market Harborough, where customers can explore our collection in person, discover new fragrances, and experience the scents that make Dragonfly & Co so special. We love being part of our local community and welcoming customers into our world of fragrance.
